Happy Saturday! I hope that you have been finding sewing time over the past several weeks! Work has been very busy. I travelled through the Florida Panhandle this week trying to open new accounts in my territory. I drove around 1200 miles over the course of three days! There was some rain along the way and met some nice people! It was nice to return home again last night.
The apartment complex is still in the foreclosure stage in a Federal Court. Luckily the process is moving slowly. As a renter we have certain rights which protect us from having to move if the court transfers the rental payment to go directly to the bank.
Going out in the mail today is a cute pincushion for the Fab Little Pincushion Swap on Flickr! I had signed up for a "Quilt As You Go" class on Craftsy. I thought that this little pinnie was an excellent way to experiment with the technique! My secret partner in the swap is actually a quilter that I really admire and hope that she will love this cutie as much as I do!The little hedgehog in the center is just adorable and the wonky little log cabin block is framed with a few Japanese prints, and some other out of print fabrics! In addition to the pinnie, there are some extra goodies to go along with it in the package!
It has been raining since early morning and it looks like a good day to stay inside, do a little housework and make Bee Blocks! There will be a quick trip to the post office once the rain subsides a bit. What are you doing this weekend? Will you have time to sew? I hope so! Well, I better run for now. Will post more pictures tomorrow! Have a Happy Saturday and Happy Quilting!
